It doesn’t matter if your year began great or got off to a poor start. What matters is how you end it. You have to build a winning mindset and to do that, it’s important to stop making excuses. If you got passed over for a promotion, didn’t meet your weight goals, or haven’t been training as much as you wanted, take a look in the mirror and figure out why. What could you have done differently? Where did you fall short?

But don’t stop there. Make the changes. It’s not too late to re-center and get to the place you want to be by the end of the year. But it takes a commitment to being honest with yourself and having the dedication you need to make the halftime adjustments in your own life to end on top.
