With so many distractions in everyday life, it can be hard to just be present. Sometimes, it can be all too easy to let past disappointments and uncertainty about the future define us. Reader encourages us to let go of the myth of the “daily grind.” Being intentional about what we do and how we do it takes us out of the victim role in our own story and puts us back in the lead. Rather than dragging our fears around behind us, we need to keep our sights set on our long-term goals and work hard, day in and day out, to reach our highest heights.
