📕 TCJ: This Isn't Accidental

Issue #18

Change is inevitable, but your growth?

That’s optional.

It might sound harsh, but it's a truth few face head-on.

No magic wand is going to wave over you, gifting you with better skills and wisdom. The only guaranteed growth is aging - we can't stop getting older and the fight with Father Time - but age doesn't automatically make you wiser.

It’s easy to ignore this and wait for experience to do the trick. But you don't grow just by staying in the same role for years.

If you're not practicing, learning, and stepping up daily, you're stagnating.

Complacency kills potential.

Real Competitors? They don't settle for this bullshit.

In a recent coffee chat, I challenged someone who thought they'd just ‘figure it out’ with time.

Don’t make the same mistake.

Growth is the result of what you do now—picking up books, swapping the sports radio for a motivating podcast, and being intentional every day with where you want to improve.

Even if one percent improvement doesn't seem worthy of a social media post, don't believe it doesn't count.

Change is coming for you whether you like it or not.

But the growth? That’s up to you.

It’s optional.

If you want a better future, you can't afford to wait for it—build it.

Decide today that you won’t wait for growth to happen.

Actively seek it out. Pick one thing right now that will challenge you—a book, a course, a podcast (hey, here's an idea 😉)—and dive in.

Make your improvement a habit, not a checkbox.

Chase your best, Reader.
